Item Description

Crystallized Coppers are beloved from the famous Ray Mine in Arizona. This piece is a wonderful example of the classic material featuring a sculptural Spinel-twinned crystal group of Copper forming a somewhat "spear"-shaped display specimen. The crystals are notably sharp and well-formed. The piece looks great under magnification and would make a great addition to any native elements suite or an Arizona mineral collection. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#9820). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
