Item Description

Juicy, translucent, lemon-yellow brucite botryoids fill an impressive vug atop the large, sculptural, tapered, brecciated matrix wedge on this striking and colorful specimen from the 2015 find. The small glassy, colorless blades on the brucite are probably hydromagnesite. Brucite, Mg-hydroxide, is found in metamorphic rocks and metasediments, in marbles and magnesian skarns. It is very uncommon from Pakistan. A fine large and rich example of the find and locale.
