Item Description

Scintillating, gemmy, rich lemon-yellow hexagonal jouravskite microcrystals richly cover the sculptural matrix dramatically accented with contrasting blocky manganese ore. Jouravskite is a rare hydrated, calcium, manganese sulfate, carbonate, a member of the Ettringite Group, that comes out only rarely from the Kalahari. Rare, rich older material from 1980s finds from the Charlie Key dealer stock.
