Item Description

A stunning, sharp, geometric carrollite crystal from the famous early 2000s finds at this mine. The striking isometric crystal has brilliant silver-metallic luster characteristic of this rare Cu-Co-Ni sulfosalt. Complete all-around. The front and upper half of the crystal are in great shape. Contacting lower on the back and along one back edge are noted and are mostly out-of-sight. This would be a $10,000 to $15,000 specimen, if there was less bruising. Fairly valued $3000-5000 for form, quality and size. A very highly representative example of the species and locality at a reasonable price point.
