Item Description
An impressive large mass of lustrous, slightly translucent, bone-white opal with a striking porcelaneous texture. Opal is well-known from this less well-known small serpentinite body (MINDAT), but specimens are seldom on the market. The opal is attached to a thin matrix rind on a couple of sides. A STRIKING surprise is the coating of fluorescent neon-green hyalite opal! Rare, excellent and large opal from the locality from a Czech collection. 464 grams mass or just over a pound.
