Item Description

An old-style, classic large bicolored tourmaline crystal from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. The impressive parallel-growth, trigonal crystal has a beautiful, gemmy to translucent, iridescent olive-green body with an etched, matte-black, schorl termination. The small gemmy tourmalines, lepidolite and cleavelandite attached near the base add pizzazz and character. Complete all around and essentially pristine, except for broken tips to the side car crystals, which have very minimal impact to the high quality of this piece. Fine crystals of this size, style and quality came out in the 1960s or 70s. 41 grams mass. Valued at $1250-1500.
