Large GEM Amethyst plate (superb for locality in USA!)

An absolutely superb large specimen of South Carolina amethyst. These crystals, which (unusually enough) are Herkimer-like in form, are GEM-LIKE in transparency and brightness (much better in person - and some actually are clear in the middle and have purple blushes at the two ends, making them particularly remarkable)! To top it off, this is a LARGE piece, with over a dozen crystals to 2.5 cm arranged in a fine balance across the display face. Some of the finest Eastern USA amethysts have come from Due West and this is a striking and impressive large example. Valued at $2000. Try to find another of this size and quality.
