Item Description

A sculptural and rare large old-time feldspar combination piece from Colorado. Parallel-growth clusters of blocky, translucent lightly tinted microcline crystals are aesthetically strewn on the rolling rounded matrix of oxide-tinted parallel-growth cleavelandite blades. From an East Coast collection and comes with a faded over a century-old label. RARE, choice and excellent old Teller County combination feldspar material. Florissant is in Teller County, which was part of El Paso County until 1899. A MUST for the Colorado or species collector.
