Item Description

An aesthetic and uncommon tourmaline combination from Erongo Mountain and the Charlie Key Collection. The aesthetically intergrown blocky schorls have both highly lustrous and more matte-finish prism faces. The top 3-5 mm of the terminations are probably composed of typical small rod-like crystals of foitite, a rare member of the Tourmaline Group. Correct identification is only possible by suitable analytical methods. Complete all-around and pristine. The side car adds pizzazz to this fine 360-degree specimen. Rare and excellent tourmaline.
