Item Description

A very aesthetic barite combination specimen from the famous Minerva Mine. Intergrown, glassy, translucent, blue-gray to white, parallel-growth barite blades resemble flower petals or bulbs on this very sculptural piece. The prominent crystal is 2.6 cm tall. The barites are nicely accented with small calcite scalenohedrons and the crystals rest on shard of bi-colored fluorite. The piece is pristine and displays beautifully without aid. This is a classic and excellent style of Minerva barite. Valued by the former dealer at $350.
