Item Description

Splendent metallic gun-metal gray, sharp, prismatic bournonite "cogwheels" are festooned on the mounded sulfide matrix and complimented with quartz points. Bournonite is a desirable Peru species and specimens such as this are not common. These came out in the late 1980s to mid-1990s. The largest crystal measures 1.7 cm long. A fine, showy and attractive combination specimen with two excellent display views.
