Halite "smile" w/ copper inclusions

A striking and sculptural halite from this well-known district of copper mines in copper-rich shales. This dramatic curved cluster of intergrown halite cubes is beautifully included with copper minerals giving it the bright green color and adding much pizzazz. We call this artistic piece the "Smile" for its obvious form. Essentially pristine, with only a barely noticeable attachment on the small end. Such included halites are desirable from here. (NOTE: though the color is probably a modern addition from copper mining runoff, they do grow naturally in the mine).
