Item Description

Sharp, lustrous, translucent, yellow-green to yellow-brown pyromorphite barrels, to 8 mm, richly and aesthetically fill a sculptural vug in gossan matrix on this very rich and excellent specimen from the famous late 1970s finds at this small Rum Jungle prospect. Smaller prisms richly cover all sides of the hefty vuggy piece. Classic and uncommon material. See the deposit article in the September-October, 1980 issue of the Mineralogical Record. Ex J.
