This gem was cut form a piece of rough found in China a few years ago. Gem quality Peridot is not common around the world, but the best of the Chinese material is some of the finest quality we've seen, though limited on the market. This "Pear" cut gem is near eye clean with a lovely yellow green hue. As I mentioned before, there are only about five major Peridot gem producing areas in the world, and China seems to have already dried out as there is very little available today.
