For quite a few years there has been some superb color intense blue Zircon gems to come out of Cambodia. This stone has a medium aqua blue color. It is a nearly eye clean gem with good color for the size. The cut on the stone is an "Deep Step Roval" cut. It is very difficult to obtain large, clean stones from this locality. The light just sparkles around this gem! I honestly think that the BEST blue Zircons come from this country. Keep in mind that because of the birefringence of the material, it is not very easy to photograph, so that's the why the pictures look a bit "fuzzy".
