Item Description

A rare, rich and important large pseudomorph from this well-known Peruvian Ag-Zn-Cu-Pb mine. Pastel-pink rhombs totally cover the sculptural plate and have pseudomorphed the numerous tabular barite crystals scattered on the plate. The few broken pseudos reveal the laminated structure of the former barite prisms, adding much character. Pseudo specimens of this size and quality are RARE from here. Ex W.S. Logan Collection # X36 and valued at $1000.
