Item Description

Striking and beautiful older color-zoned fluorite with accessories from the famous Minerva Mine. The typical amber interior of the sharp cube is dramatically accented by the stunning sharp thin purple and broad blue edge phantoms. The water-clear to translucent crystal has satin lustre very fine stepped-growth faces. The 3.0 cm long cluster of glassy, tan strontianite needles and prisms at the base is a super accessory. Purple fluorescence, with a surprise on the back - fluorescent yellow hydrocarbons are included here. Older material from the 1980s, 1982 until at least to 1986, when the Inverness Mining Company operated the mine (MINDAT). Valued at $300-500.
