Large sharp Willemite xl (Gerstmann & Bartels Coll.)

Item Description

A classic and striking large hexagonal, blocky barrel-shaped willemite crystal with a rounded termination is nicely accented with a bit of calcite and franklinite crystals on the base. The complete all-around and pristine 360-degree crystal has typical pinkish-brown color and moderate lustre of Sterling Mine specimens. Neon-green willemite and dark red calcite fluorescence. Ex Ted Bartels Collection and comes with a Gerstmann's label, well-known Franklin collectors and dealers with a private museum, dating from the early 1960s to 1980. This is a substantial and important large crystal for the locale.
