Striking gemmy and lustrous, sharp yellow-green prehnite crystals are densely intergrown on this impressive rich mounded small cabinet from a 2017 find at Merelani, source of the world's finest Tanzanite specimens. The imposing large sharply terminated crystal is 2.7 cm and the bit of graphite is a nice contrast and accessory. The crystals GLOW, when back lit! The couple of scattered white spots are overgrowths, no damage. Unexpected and excellent crystallized prehnite from Merelani.
