Artistic sinuous swirls of sparkly, bright pastel-pink flattened rhodochrosite rhombs and glassy quartz points dramatically and attractively cover the large undulating quartz matrix with a bit of sphalerite. Specimens of any species are rare and are seldom on the market from this obscure Peru district. Choice large rhodo from the W.S. Logan Rhodochrosite Collection # X115-1 and valued at $500 by the former dealer.
