A very aesthetic, sculptural and deceptive combination from the famous Yaogangxian Mine. A beautiful 3.1 x 2.8 x 2.3 cm rich purple, translucent fluorite cube with satin lustre faces and nifty darker purple edge phantoms is dramatically set on the matrix of glassy, colorless, calcite disks. Rotating the piece reveals that the calcites and fluorites are attached to a diverging cluster of glassy, terminated, transparent to translucent, quartz points, to 7.2 cm. The large cube is nearly pristine, with just a bit of bruising to the top edge, which is certainly only a modest detraction. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. Striking contrasting purple and pink fluorescence!
