Item Description

Juicy orange arsenian pyromorphite botryoids are dramatically festooned on the sculptural massive quartz matrix plate on this showy and excellent specimen from the renowned Bunker Hill Mine. This piece is from the first major 1981 finds, acquired by Wayne Sorenson and sold to Harvey Gordon. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 9432 and acquired from Harvey Gordon in February, 1982 at the Tucson Show. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
