This impressive large and hefty zinc ore specimen from the Franklin Mine has classic 4-color fluorescence. All sides explode with color under SW UV light on this striking piece: 1. Green - Willemite; 2. much BLUE - rare Hardystonite (Type Locality); 3. orange - rare Clinohedrite (Type Locality); and 4. red - Calcite. Choice, rich and colorful large older combination material from the David Burgess Collection, for whom Burgessite is named. Hefty at 6.8 pounds or 3.1 kilos. The former dealer label has a $350 price. It's worth more today.
