Item Description

A classic 7.0 cm color-zoned fluorite cube is strikingly complemented by the attached massive white barite matrix on this very showy and excellent older small cabinet from the famous Minerva Mine. The typical amber interior of the sharp cube is dramatically accented by the stunning sharp thin purple and broad sky-blue edge phantoms. The water-clear to translucent crystal has satin lustre very fine stepped-growth faces. Purple fluorescence, with a surprise on the back - fluorescent yellow hydrocarbons are included in part of the amber fluorite. Older material from the 1980s, 1982 until at least to 1986, when the Inverness Mining Company operated the mine (MINDAT).
