Amethyst is VERY RARE from Erongo Mountain and this is a stunning and superb matrix miniature. The limpid, supremely glassy crystals have beautiful variable blush-purple color. The impressive large 4.8 crystal is a partial scepter and one skeletal termination face is fantastically embedded with feldspar. The isolated crystal is 2.5 cm long and the 3.5 cm amethyst on the edge is a full scepter. All of the crystals are included with goethite/hematite flakes, adding pizzazz. An exceptional, very rare style, 360-degree cluster of amethyst crystals from the Shields Flynn Collection. A must for the locality or species collector.
