Fabulous, gemmy electric-blue color shines forth from the tabular azurite crystals under bright light on this rich and impressive small cabinet azurite and malachite combination from famed Tsumeb. The highly lustrous crystals, to 2.0 cm, are midnight-blue under normal light, but explode with color when brightly lit. This is one of the most desirable azurite varietals from Tsumeb and this is a very fine and rich example. The interior has very few broken crystals and some are partially pseudomorphed by malachite.
