Intergrown sprays of lustrous velvet malachite pseudomorphing striking tabular terminated azurite crystals form a very sculptural and aesthetic matrix small cabinet from famed Tsumeb. The crystals have sharp spearpoint terminations and the striking, dominating pseudo is about 4.5 cm long. Lustrous midnight-blue azurite, that has not been replaced, adds pizzazz to this very fine example. The few broken pseudos on the periphery are noted, but have minimal impact to the high quality of this excellent classic from the Shields Flynn Collection. The piece has mulitple fine display views. Valued at $800 and worth it.
