Item Description

Two clusters of sugary, translucent, pretty rose-pink rhodochrosite rhombs are attractively set in a vug with tiny micro rhombs and sparkly, brassy micro pyrites on the blocky miniature matrix from the famed finds at the Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. The large rhomb is 9 mm on the diagonal. Rhodo rhombs are RARE from the Potosi Mine compared to more common botryoidal or scalenohedral forms. Rare and excellent Mexican rhodochrosite from the W.S. Logan Collection # X52-8.
