Item Description

A fascinating and exotic pseudomorph combination from the Erongos. A striking large and rare 5.4 cm tapered siderite disk has been replaced by matte goethite and is dramatically impaled by a sharply terminated, 4.3 cm, gemmy quartz crystal. Siderite is rare from the Erongos. The quartz is nearly pristine, except for a couple of hard-to-see bruises behind the crystal. The contacted edges along the pseudo are certainly only a modest detraction to this artistic pseudomorph rarity from the Shields Flynn Collection.
