Item Description

Specimens are very uncommon from this obscure basalt Zeolite Group Russian locality, known for excellent stilbite and thomsonite specimens. This very sculptural and rich 360-degree jackstraw mounded crust consists of pearlescent, translucent, vanilla-yellow stilbite blades, to about 2.7 cm. Snow-white balls of an unknown acicular Zeolite are noted on the bottom, as a bonus. These RARE and excellent specimens came out in the early 1990s, soon after the fall of the Soviet Union, with none since. An outstanding pristine example and a must for the Zeolite or locality collector. Seldom on the market today and has multiple fine display views.
