Item Description

Stringhamite is a RARE hydrated Ca-Cu silicate named in 1974 and this extinct less well-known Utah magnetite-diopside skarn deposit is the Type Locality. Bright azure-blue crusts richly cover three sides of the blocky sculptural matrix. Specimens are RARE on the market and this is a rich and excellent example of the species and locale with several display views. Ex David Burgess Collection, for whom Burgessite is named.
