A 1.8 cm, sharply terminated, glistening metallic wine-red cinnabar crystal is aesthetically surrounded by contrasting pearlescent, creamy dolomite rhombs on this showy and excellent small cabinet Chinese combination. The translucent crystal glows with cherry-red color, when brightly lit. A fine highly representative combination example from this locality from the David Burgess Collection. Classic Chinese cinnabar and dolomite.
