Item Description

A striking and unusual large wulfenite combination from famed Mina Ojuela. Clusters and isolated crystals of lustrous, translucent, butterscotch-colored pseudocubic wulfenite crystals are richly and aesthetically scattered on the uncommon and unusual sculptural sturdy dark, sintered looking limonitic gossan matrix. The prism clusters, particularly the top one, down the middle and on the left side are noteworthy and add much character. The wulfies reach 1.0 cm and are nicely accented by contrasting pearlescent calcite crystals and a few apple-green mimetite botryoids. The calcite rhombs were unique to this 2008 find. Pristine and a very fine large combination example of this uncommon varietal.
