Item Description

Beautiful, sharp, gemmy, rich canary-yellow sulfur crystals, to 1.5 cm, are richly clustered and isolated on the large rolling matrix covered with scintillating tan aragonite crystals on this showy and excellent combination from the historic mines of Agrigento Province, Sicily. Bruising to a few sulfur crystals and periphery wear on one side are noted, but this remains a very attractive and aesthetic large combination example of the species and famous locale. BRIGHT aragonite pink fluorescence. The piece has several fine display views.
