An impresssive and important large cadmium-rich smithsonite specimen from the limited finds at the famous San Antonio Mine at Santa Eulalia in the early 1980s. Greenish-yellow, waxy luster, translucent bubbly botryoids comprise this dramatic and very sculptural large piece. It looks like a yellow fish! The seams of red iron oxides add contrast and pizzazz. The thin banded yellow crust lies on a banded crust of gray smithsonite. Specimens of this size and quality from this find are RARE and highly desirable. Ex Kerry Cooper Collection.
