Classic and showy combination material from the famous Sterling Mine. A 7.0 cm section of a large, partially euhedral brown willemite crystal is embedded in calcite matrix and is nicely accented with sections of isolated black franklinite crystals, to 2.5 cm. Green willemite and moderate pinkish-red calcite fluorescence. From the Joe Lobell Collection of Oklahoma and comes with a Gerstmann's label, well-known Franklin collectors and dealers, dating from the early 1960s to 1980. Rich and highly representative Sterling Mine combination material with a large willemite.
