Highly unusual, striking and sculptural boulangerite and galena from this ancient mining district. Spherical aggegates (they look like botryoids) of very tiny, sparkly gray boulangerite needles nearly cloak a dramatic mounded cluster of intergrown, densely stepped-growth, splendent, metallic-gray, galena cuboctahedrons. The way the bright galenas, with a fanciful melted look, peer out from the enclosing matte-gray looking boulangerite adds real pizzazz to this rare style combination from this famous locale.
