Crocoite (old classic style!)

An OLD-TIME, rich and impressive large crocoite specimen from the famous old silver-lead mines at Dundas. The piece hosts EXCEPTIONALLY STOUT lustrous, translucent, reddish-orange prism sections of a type you don't see from recent mining efforts (thin fragile prisms) AND the crystals are on sturdy gossan matrix (not crumbly). The scupturally clustered, dense jackstraw crystal sections reach 3.0 cm. From an East Coast collection and comes with a century-old faded and water-stained label. This exceptional old-timer is of a style you very seldom see today. Value???
