Item Description

Dramatically opposing clusters of goethite pseudomorphs after gypsum crystals form a surreal and artistic specimen from Santa Eulalia. The fantastic cluster of pipe-like pseudos (epimorphs) is strikingly accented by the stepped-growth spearpoint-shaped pseudos, that look like a jagged mountain. Some of the rust-red pseudo faces have amazing metallic iridescent, adding even more pizzazz to this otherworld pseudomorph. Santa Eulalia is famous for such pseudos and this is an excellent example from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
