Item Description

Classic and aesthetic gypsum from this famous Spanish locale, source of some of the world's finest examples of superb crystals. A fantastic 2.5 cm, water-clear, tabular spearpoint is beautifully set on the massive gypsum alabaster matrix. The 1.7 cm flat lying gypsum at the base is a very fine accessory. Ex Francesco Bedogne Colllection # 1384. Dr. Bedogne, 1942-2012, was a well-known Italian mineralogist, prolific author, field collector and collector.
