Superb Gemmy pink Fluorite octahedrons on Quartz (classic locale)

Wonderful and classic pink fluorite from Chamonix. The intergrown miniature cluster of doubly terminated octahedrons is aesthetically attached to the quartz matrix. The glassy, transparent octos have the vibrant pink color these fluorites are renowned for and frosted faces. The impressive, beautiful and pristine large octo is 2.8 cm. Every turn of the piece presents a beautifully different perspective to this elegant specimen. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON! The glassiness and luster made photography difficult. For the size, this is a very fine matrix miniature and can go at a fair price compared to the prices we see in Europe on these. Moderate purple fluorescence. Valued at $1500-2500 low to high, this is a stunning jewel-like piece of high quality, which came in an old collection suite as a group or we could never buy it at a price just to auction it here....
