Item Description
Fabulous neon-orange fluorescence on this very aesthetic two-sided cluster of three intergrown calcite scalenohedrons from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal'negorsk. The supremely glassy and lustrous colorless crystals have water-clear gem terminations and translucent bodies. The two large crystals on the outsides, to 3.8 cm, are partially doubly terminated, adding pizzazz. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. It's hard to see a gentle bruise to a side car to one of the large crystals. Dal'negorsk, like Tsumeb is renowned for calcite diversity and quality and this is a very fine example of this classic gem varietal. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
