Item Description

Forest-green pseudomalachite botryoids, an uncommon Cu-phosphate, richly line two sculptural vugs, 4.0 and 2.7 cm long, in the quartz-rich matrix on this rich and showy combination from this extinct open pit copper mine. Sections and crystals of scattered green libethenite are a typical accessory. Ex Francsco Bedogne Collection # 740. Dr. Bedogne, 1942-2012, was a well-known Italian mineralogist, prolific author, field collector and collector.
