Item Description

Mineral specimens of ANY species are RARE from this obscure old extinct silver-sulfide mine discovered in 1868 (MINDAT). Florets of limonite pseudomorphs after siderite rhombs are attractively perched atop the quartz-rich matrix on this rare and showy two-sided pseudo. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 11322 and acquired from well-known Canadian dealer David Joyce in the Summer of 1987. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). A MUST for the locality or species collector.
