Item Description

Mineral specimens are uncommon from this extinct underground gold and silver, that was active from 1997-2000 (MINDAT). Barite was the signature collectable mineral species from here. Two-toned, sharp tabular crystals, to 1.6 cm, compose this very cute miniature. The highly lustrous, porcelaneous white exteriors have translucent gray interiors. The single 4 mm stibnite lathe is a super and very uncommon accessory. Choice and rare Nevada barite from the Ted Bartels Collection.
