Item Description

Rich yellow, translucent wulfenite prisms with satiny luster and beveled edges are richly and aesthetically scattered on the dramatically scuptural vuggy gossan matrix. The wulfies reach 1.1 cm on this classic and excellent Touissit specimen. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 8956 and acquired from Roberts Minerals at the 1980 Tucson Show. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). Essentially pristine, except for trivial periphery wear. A classic Touissit wulfenite.
