Large gemmy bi-colored Fluorite (NEW find)

Item Description

An impressive and large fluorite specimen from a NEW FIND at an obscure Fujian Province locale. The sculptural three-sided 3-dimensional matrix is richly and dramatically covered with gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored sharp stepped-growth cuboctahedrons with lightly frosted faces. A couple of milky quartz crystals add character. The water-clear, very glassy crystals, to 3.0 cm, are mostly a pretty light green accented with hints of purple. Faint purple fluorescence. The base has been sawed to enhance the super display quality. This is striking, unusual fluorite from this new find. The diversity of Chinese fluorite styles and colors continually amazes!
