Aquamarine w/ Schorl (NEW FIND)

Item Description

An impressive and aesthetic aquamarine combination from a BRAND NEW FIND in the Erongo Mountains! Gemmy, fine blue, glassy, textbook aquas are dramatically scattered on the undulating feldspar matrix, which includes a couple schorl crystals, to 1.5 cm. The striking dominating pristine aqua is 3.4 cm and the surprise aqua behind it with the very gemmy termination is 2.2 cm. The narrrow gemmy flat lying doubly terminated aqua is 3.0 cm and the fine larger aquas below it are 2.5 and 2.1 cm long. The feldspar matrix is interesting in itself, as the back hosts casts of two large sharp, dissolved away crystals (feldspars?) and there still one crystal embedded in the feldspar. DIRECT from the miners, as the iron oxides have not been cooked off of the piece. Here's your chance to get an outstanding sculptural example from a NEW FIND!
