Pseudocubic Wulfenite & Calcite (2008 find)

Item Description

This sculptural undulating vug in sturdy small cabinet gossan matrix is richly and attractively festooned with lustrous, translucent, butterscotch-colored pseudocubic wulfenite prisms to 6 mm. Scattered patches of translucent, apple-green mimetite botryoids are a super and typical accent to this fine combination example from the well-known 2008 find. All of the many crystals in the center interior are pristine and the bit of bruising noted off to one side is certainly only a modest detraction. This excellent piece has two fine display views.
