Item Description

Pascoite is a rare secondary mineral occurring as a leachate of near-surface vanadium oxides by ground waters and as efflorescences in mine tunnels (MINDAT). Specimens are rare from this U-V-Mo-Se mining area. Minute yellow vitreous crystals richly cover the front and granular crusts cover four sides of the blocky sandstone matrix on this very rich and RARE example from this locale. From an East Coast collection.
